“Upon receiving this scholarship, I pursued my dream of studying abroad in Ireland. Last school year, I studied at University of College Cork in Cork, Ireland. The chance to study in Ireland was a once in a lifetime experience. In Cork, I studied International Field Geosciences and through my degree I got the opportunity to study geology in Germany, Scotland, England and Ireland. Classes I took ranged from crustal evolution of NW Britain, where I learned the complete geologic history of Britain to Petroleum Geology, where I studied how the world’s fossil fuels are obtained.”
