Bushy with dense whorls of bright green leaves. Leaves (3-6) whorled, linear to lanceolate, often scalelike and have fine toothed margins. Leaves below growing tip are often curved downward. Flowers extend up to 3 cm above the water surface. Petals are broad, glossy, white in color with wrinkled edges.
