Cutleaf Blackberry (Evergreen Blackberry)

Rubus laciniatus

Deeply incised, evergreen leaflets usually in groups of 5, (narrower leaflets than Himalayan blackberry). Thorns are slightly curved with a thick base. Small white to pink flowers in May-July. Mature berries are black in color, round shaped.

Habitat NotesRoadsides, fencerows, fields, canal and ditch banks as well as riparian areas and other disturbed sites. Can tolerate periodic flooding.
