Large palmate leaves and showy white-pink to purple-blue pea-like flowers on stalks. Blooms May – August.

Habitat NotesOccurs in seasonally dry to marshy meadows, wetlands and damp forests, along stream banks and ditches, and in disturbed areas.

Soil Tolerance prefers wet to moist soil.
Special Uses Attracts insects, bees, hummingbirds; bank stabilization; ornamental.
