This deciduous vine will crawl along the ground unless given something to climb, and can reach heights of 20 ft. Oppositely arranged oval leaves with pointed tips. Clusters of ~20 orange trumpet-shaped flowers at branch tips, bloom May-July. The fruit is a cluster of small red-orange berries. A great addition to bird and butterfly gardens.
