PARTNER EVENT: Planting nectar species at Beazell Memorial Forest
November 4th, 9am
Join Institute for Applied Ecology to plant important nectar plants for early season butterflies in some of the higher-elevation protected meadows that are not accessible to the public. In the morning, we will meet at the parking lot nearby. IAE will drive volunteers up to the site for planting. Bring lunch and warm clothes. Tools and gloves will be provided. No experience necessary. This planting event will run rain or shine, so please bring rain gear and boots you are OK with getting muddy. All volunteers (or parent/guardian if the volunteer is a youth) must fill out IAE's volunteer release form.
