Hydrilla | Hydrilla verticillata
Perennial; forest green, whorled, small, linear to lanceolate leaves (6-8mm long). Leaves have saw-tooth margins; usually visible without magnification. Mats os stems are formed above and belowground. Whitish to brown-black tubers are tough, and egg-shaped. Small flowers on long stalks have white petals that are translucent.
